The parade begins at 11:00 am and we should be lined up by 10:30 or so.  Our staging area is along So. Colony Way beginning at E. Blueberry Ave and facing north. We have been asked by the Pioneers to provide three cars for their Kings and Queens.

Some of the vehicles coming from Anchorage will be meeting at the REI parking lot on Northern Lights and Denali at 9:00am.

The following are directions to the staging area:

1.  Take the Glenn Highway to E. Arctic Ave and turn right.  2.  At South Alaska Street turn right.  3.  At E. Cottonwood, turn left. 4.  At So. Colony Way turn left.
Mark Graber plans on being at the staging area by 10:00.
The parade ends at the Pioneers Home and we will continue on to the Fairgrounds and will enter at the yellow gate.
Show Info:The showgrounds are just inside the yellow entrance.  If you are not doing the parade, take the Glenn to Inner Springer Loop  and turn right.  In about 1/3 mi. make another right turn where  Inner Springer goes south. The yellow gate will be on your right.
The Show will end at 4 pm.  Everyone is expected to sign up for a 30 minute stint to watch the vehicles and be ambassadors for the club, while others can enjoy the Fair.
Fair Tickets:The Fair organizers are providing free entry tickets for show participants, and I will be handing out tickets at the Parade staging area. The State Fair has done a wonderful job of mentioning us by name.

After your drive from Anchorage you might need a pit stop.  Fred Meyer store would be a convenient place to stop.
