The AAMA entry in the Chugiak 2023 July 4th parade will stage between noon and 12:30 p.m. in the traditional location across from Latimer Fire Station in the Reliant Transportation parking lot at 17139 Old Glenn Highway (under the Moose Horn sign). Arrive early and hungry, because, if history guides us, a full course picnic will greet you. Our entry will be very near the front of the parade and we may need to answer the call to provide rides to dignitaries and pageant Queens and Courts. Weather permitting, convertibles are particularly popular. This parade not only permits flinging candy at onlookers, but encourages it, so you may choose to arrive well-armed.

The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. and will travel a moderately hilly route of approximately 2.4 miles long. We should traverse the route in less than an hour, after which you are welcome to join yet another potluck picnic at the Cresap's nearby.
